FAMILIES can experience an African safari while doing the grocery shopping this week.

Chester Pass Mall is hosting Virtually Wild until this Saturday and invites all customers to pop by for a 10-minute up close and personal session with lions, gorillas and baby elephants.

The virtual reality set-up allows four participants per 10-minute session to step inside the sectioned area and watch animals wander amongst them on screen.

M Group Properties Director James Collis said the free sessions are available from 9am to 3pm and bookings are not required.

“We are so excited to bring our Virtually Wild program to customers to help bring smiles to their faces towards the end of what has been a challenging year for so many,” he said.

“This interactive experience will share important messages about conservation, while providing a fun, free experience in a Covid-safe environment.

“We can’t wait to see the community rubbing shoulders (or tails) with these incredible African animals.”
