THE son of an Albany business tycoon has appeared in court charged with the home invasion of a Mount Melville property last month.
Steven Angelo Lionetti, son of well-known local entrepreneur Paul Lionetti, faced Albany Magistrate Court last Thursday on three offences, including criminal damage and aggravated home burglary.
Magistrate Raelene Johnston told the court Mr Lionetti was charged with damaging a TV and mobile phone during the robbery of a Mount Melville residence on April 13.
In WA, aggravated burglary can carry a maximum penalty of three years imprisonment and a fine of $36,000 when the matter is dealt with in a magistrate court.
Mr Lionetti’s bail was renewed and he will reappear in court on May 28.
