A NEW double-storey brewery capable of catering for up to 250 people is nearing completion in one of the Great Southern’s beachside towns.
Construction on the Bremer Bay Brewing Company began in April and has since had its plumbing, concreting and wall cladding finished as well as had rain water tanks, a cool room, stairs and a deck installed.
Owner-operator Zane Mitchell did not wish to comment on the project ahead of determining an opening date but documents from the Department of Racing, Gaming and Liquor suggest the Seadragon Avenue brewery would be able to trade seven days a week, 10am to 10pm and until midnight on Friday and Saturday.
An application for a liquor licence was lodged in April 2017.
The business’s signs were erected last week.
